Most workplace incidents don't happen because people don't know the rules — they happen because hazards weren't recognised, risk wasn't properly evaluated, or effective controls weren't in place.
This 1-day Task Risk Assessment workshop is designed to change that.
Delivered through a combination of facilitated discussion, interactive team exercises and coached practical application, this workshop moves beyond the classroom — delegates practice, reflect and embed real skills that they can use immediately on-site.
This is where competence is built. Not through slides — but through doing, reviewing and improving.

Theory + Common Language
Using interactive team exercises, delegates will:

Apply the Risk Assessment Matrix and hierarchy of controls

Moving to practical application, delegates will:

Critically review an existing risk assessment

Present findings and identify improvements

Complete a full task-based risk assessment

Complete a short knowledge assessment
On completion:
By the end of the program, delegates will be able to:

Confidently identify hazards and evaluate risk using a structured, repeatable process.

Apply a common language of risk that improves team communication and consistency.

Select and evaluate effective control measures using the hierarchy of controls.

Critically review existing risk assessments and identify gaps.

Complete a task-based operational risk assessment to the required standard.
