Task Risk Assessment

Understanding and applying the language of risk

Built specifically for operational personnel in high-risk environments, this practical, hands-on program focuses on developing the skills, confidence and common language needed to complete effective task risk assessments.

Course Description

Most workplace incidents don't happen because people don't know the rules — they happen because hazards weren't recognised, risk wasn't properly evaluated, or effective controls weren't in place.

This 1-day Task Risk Assessment workshop is designed to change that.

Delivered through a combination of facilitated discussion, interactive team exercises and coached practical application, this workshop moves beyond the classroom — delegates practice, reflect and embed real skills that they can use immediately on-site.

This is where competence is built. Not through slides — but through doing, reviewing and improving.

why ethos?

Why it works

Realistic Practice

Delegates don't just discuss risk assessment — they apply it. Using real workplace scenarios and coached exercises, delegates practise identifying hazards, evaluating risk, and completing assessments while building skills they can confidently apply back in the workplace.

Behaviour Change, Not Knowledge Transfer

This workshop focuses on what delegates do, not just what they know. Through interactive exercises and guided reflection, delegates shift from passive understanding to active, confident risk assessment practice

Immediate Application On-Site

Every tool and framework introduced is designed to be used straight away. Delegates leave with practical skills and a completed risk assessment, ready to apply their learning from day one.
